OK, I gotta stop looking into machine translation when I have a minute. I've got too many side projects.

I partially like the idea of non-neural net programmes, something where there are rules, because I believe that's easier for one person to fix & change.

To do a neural net, you need ๐—น๐—ผ๐˜๐˜€ of input data, which benefits big orgs (like companies). But a rule that one person can tweak? That's more empowering

I played with apertium years ago, I wonder how that works now. I wonder if there's any 'neural net' machine translation Free sofware now?
