I don't know any #Latin, but I think “Imperium Americanum Delenda Est” would be “The American Empire must be destroyed”, right?
I partially like the idea of non-neural net programmes, something where there are rules, because I believe that's easier for one person to fix & change.
To do a neural net, you need 𝗹𝗼𝘁𝘀 of input data, which benefits big orgs (like companies). But a rule that one person can tweak? That's more empowering
lol, apertium cannot handle separable verbs? That's a problem with translating German.....
We must not sacrifice translation software to the privatised, enclosed, proprietary software world
