Richard Stallman is saying what @dredmorbius has been saying for a long time now. Data is dangerous, and should not be collected unless absolutely necessary.
@starbreaker @dredmorbius the fella behind the bookmarking site Pinboard has been saying this too. Treat personal data like radioactive waste, not an asset. Don't hoard it, store it safely etc.
